GDSConnect™

GDSConnect™ allows travel agents to book car service in as little as 20 seconds using a simple point-and-click graphical interface. GDSConnect integrates car service bookings with the GDS itinerary at point-of-sale, eliminating the need for phone calls to the service providers. The confirmed ground service booking includes the confirmation number, rate, airport meeting instructions and pick-up time (including charge and cancellation policies), all of which is written back to the PNR and available to the passenger when they view their itinerary. If the agent cancels the booking, GDSConnect writes the cancellation number back into the PNR ensuring a complete audit trail throughout the entire process.

GDSConnect R/T™, the real-time interface, allows service providers to connect their back-office systems directly to the GDSConnect ensuring that the corporate client gets the latest and most reliable data. Service providers benefit because the travel agents essentially become their order entry personnel, significantly reducing their reservation processing costs.

GDSConnect reduces the costs associated with the ground service booking process, provides a clear audit trail to assist in the research of service failures and provides corporate and agency management with Internet-based activity reporting.

GDSConnect is available on all three major GDS platforms: Sabre, Apollo and Worldspan. The booking tools automatically ‘reads’ passenger profile information (home and office address, phone numbers, form of payment and email address), as well as flight and hotel segments allowing agents to book in seconds. This process also eliminates transposition errors that can lead to service failures.

GT3-Online™

GT3 also offers self-booking tools that allow corporate users and administrators to book ground service with contract and/or retail service providers via Microsoft Internet Explorer. GT3-Online™ provides advanced ‘book for’ capabilities enabling departmental administrators to view, book, change and cancel any reservation for those employees that have granted them access. GT3’s SuperAgent capability allows travel agencies to provide complete assistance to travelers who require changes to their complete itinerary.
